Role Summary

We are seeking an independent External Auditor to audit our corporation's books and accounting records for the calendar year ending December 31, 2025, and to issue and sign the Audited Financial Statements (AFS) and Independent Auditor's Report in accordance with applicable Philippine auditing and financial reporting standards.

The company will handle the online filing with the BIR and SEC.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform audit procedures in accordance with Philippine Standards on Auditing (PSAs) and applicable professional requirements.
  • Obtain reasonable assurance that the financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error.
  • Examine and validate accounting records, financial transactions, schedules, and supporting documents.
  • Assess internal controls relevant to financial reporting and communicate observations and recommendations, as applicable.
  • Review tax-related processes and compliance matters insofar as these affect the accuracy of the financial statements.
  • Prepare audit deliverables including the Independent Auditor's Report and signed Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for CY 2025.
  • Summarize audit findings clearly and provide a management letter, if applicable.
  • Communicate audit progress, issues, and proposed adjustments to management in a timely manner.
  • Complete the audit engagement within the agreed timeline (target completion: March 2026).
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting and auditing standards and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Board of Accountancy (BOA)–registered.
  • BIR-accredited External Auditor, authorized to act as signatory on audited financial statements.
  • Proven experience in external financial statement audits and AFS signing for Philippine corporations.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and professional judgment.
  • Independent, ethical, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Engagement Scope

  • Audit and signing of Audited Financial Statements only (CY 2025).
  • SEC and BIR online filing will be handled by the company.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: Php45, Php60,000.00 per month
