Your Role:

As a Medical Credentialing Specialist, you will:

  • Import and maintain provider information within the credentialing platform (Medallion).
  • Verify credentialing information using State Licensing Board websites, National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB), CAQH profiles, National Student Clearinghouse, and the American Board of Medical Specialties.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of provider credentialing records.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and follow up on missing documentation.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to healthcare compliance standards.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables:

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong ability to navigate online databases, websites, and portal systems for verification purposes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

Preferred skills/expertise:

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation in a healthcare or professional services environment.
  • Prior experience in medical credentialing, provider enrollment, or healthcare administration.
