Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher will play a vital role in ensuring that all plates, utensils, buffet wares, and kitchen tools are consistently cleaned, sanitized, and ready to support our continuous buffet operations.

This position is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the back-of-house area, helping uphold food safety standards and ensuring smooth workflow in the kitchen. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak dining hours and special events.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize all buffet plates, utensils, serving tools, chafing dish inserts, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure all wares are dried and stored properly to support continuous buffet service.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing station, including sinks, floors, drying racks, and waste segregation areas.
• Operate and care for the dishwashing machine, including basic troubleshooting and routine cleaning.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the pantry, food preparation areas, and kitchen backrooms as needed.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure steady availability of clean wares, especially during peak buffet hours and events.
• Help clean kitchen equipment, grease traps, and utility areas as instructed.

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate or equivalent.
• With or without experience; experience in a restaurant or buffet setup is an advantage.
• Driving skills are an advantage; applicants with a valid driver's license will be prioritized.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume kitchen environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours, lift wares, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation is an advantage.
• Strong sense of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules as required.
• Team player with a positive and cooperative attitude.
