plan of the Contractor and oversees the completion of the project

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Engineer's job focuses on monitoring the building construction and the completion of the project. Tasked with the following several key duties:

  • Project Planning and Management:

Oversee project development, monitoring project timelines, and ensuring all project goals are

met.

  • Collaboration and Coordination:

Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop integrated design

solutions and resolve issues.

  • Site Supervision:

Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure designs are implemented correctly,

and address any structural concerns that arise.

  • Compliance and Regulations:

Ensure all designs meet local building codes, legal requirements, environmental standards, and

health and safety regulation

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • With at least 2 years work experience in structural retro-fitting in a construction/ job site
  • Licensed Civil or Structural Engineer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • With strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 6 months
