Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Website Manager to oversee the technical upkeep and content

updates on our client. This role is ideal for someone with strong skills in JavaScript-based

website management and a passion for keeping a site's content fresh, relevant, and engaging.

The Website Manager will work closely with our editorial team to publish new stories, update

existing pages, and ensure the site runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Website Maintenance & Technical Management

Manage and maintain the site's functionality, performance, and security.

Update and optimize front-end code (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) when needed.

Troubleshoot and fix website bugs or errors.

Ensure the site remains responsive and mobile-friendly.

Content Publishing & Updates

Upload and format new articles, blog posts, and stories according to editorial guidelines.

Update existing content with new information, links, and multimedia.

Ensure proper SEO formatting, tagging, and meta descriptions.

Manage images, graphics, and other assets to optimize load times and quality.

Collaboration & Workflow

Work with the editorial team to plan and schedule content releases.

Implement changes based on feedback from editors and management.

Coordinate with developers (if needed) for larger updates or feature additions.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic SEO practices.

Familiarity with website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console).

Basic knowledge of image optimization and web performance best practices.

Soft Skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred

Prior experience managing financial or news websites.

Knowledge of responsive design and UX principles.

Work Schedule & Compensation

Part-time: ~3 to 5 hours per week (flexible schedule).

Remote work arrangement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
