Job description:

The Part Custodian is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the branch facility. This role includes managing the parts storage area, ensuring that all parts and tools are properly organized and readily accessible, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance:

  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal, to ensure a clean and orderly environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the branch, including offices, customer areas, and restrooms.

Parts Organization:

  • Organize and manage the parts storage area, ensuring that all automotive parts and tools are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that all parts are accounted for and report any discrepancies or shortages to the Branch Manager.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that cleaning supplies and tools are used and stored properly.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to cleanliness and maintenance, as well as industry safety standards.

Customer Service Support:

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the customer waiting area to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment.
  • Support branch staff by performing tasks that contribute to an efficient and organized workspace.

Equipment and Supply Management:

  • Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all items are in good working condition and reordering supplies as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.

Other Duties:

  • Perform any additional tasks or special projects as assigned by the Branch Manager or Facility Manager.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down for branch events or promotions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • K to 12 Compliant & College Level/Graduate are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent Customer Interpersonal, Communication & Service skills
  • Can work under pressure, flexible and has the ability to multitask.
  • Must be proficient in using MS Office applications.
  • With experience in Motorcycle parts Marketing/Sales & Inventory is an advantage.
  • Willing to be trained.
  • Can work with less supervision.
