  • Job Title: Property Engineer

## Job Summary

The Property Engineer is responsible for the technical operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of building systems and property infrastructure. The role ensures that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with statutory and company standards.


## Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operation and maintenance of building services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, elevators, etc.).
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
  • Inspect properties regularly to identify defects, safety risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage and supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare maintenance schedules, technical reports, and cost estimates.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, emergencies, and tenant maintenance requests.
  • Monitor energy usage and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Support renovation, refurbishment, and fit-out projects from a technical perspective.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment warranties, and certifications.

## Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
  • 2–5 years of experience in property, facilities, or building maintenance (experience level adjustable).
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, building codes, and compliance standards.
  • Experience supervising contractors and service teams.
