Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Develop, review, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Bugzilla).
  • Verify fixes through re-testing and ensure defects are resolved properly.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements.
  • Perform data validation and ensure system outputs meet expectations.
  • Create reports summarizing test results, defects, and quality metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, documentation guidelines, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide feedback on requirements, risks, and timelines.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance product quality, workflow efficiency, and testing processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in software testing, QA roles, or related IT/technical positions.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and SDLC/STLC.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Katalon, Postman, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
