Community Operations is at the heart of that mission — ensuring providers are properly onboarded, compliant, and set up for success.

The Role

We are looking for a Driver Onboarding & Compliance Specialist to join our Community Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for vetting new providers, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate, and safeguarding compliance with all safety, legal, and platform policies. You will act as the first line of trust for our provider community, balancing onboarding speed with risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end provider onboarding process, including document verification, background checks, and vehicle eligibility.
  • Train new providers on platform standards such as proof-of-delivery, safety requirements, and compliance protocols.
  • Monitor compliance on an ongoing basis — escalating repeat safety violations, fraud suspicions, or policy breaches.
  • Partner with Driver Ops, Safety, and CentralOps teams on escalations requiring account suspension or removal.
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready compliance records in line with GDPR, CCPA, PCI, and regional regulations.
  • Provide clear, empathetic, but policy-first communication to providers during onboarding and compliance reviews.
  • Surface trends and insights to improve training materials, reduce repeat non-compliance, and strengthen marketplace integrity.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in compliance, onboarding, operations, or risk management (preferably in logistics, gig economy, or marketplaces).
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and safety policies (insurance verification, background checks, licensing).
  • Excellent communication skills: empathetic, professional, and firm when enforcing rules.
  • High attention to detail and ability to spot irregularities in documentation or processes.
  • Strong organizational and audit skills, with experience handling sensitive PII securely.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Policy, Safety, and Ops teams.
  • Tech-savvy with familiarity in CRM and compliance tracking tools.
