The Time Compass Show
—a new interview-driven podcast exploring how innovators, creators, and entrepreneurs navigate pivotal moments and map their own future.

Role Description

This is a
remote contract role
averaging
40 hours per month (≈10 hrs/week)
.

Your primary mission:
research, find, and book at least one confirmed podcast guest every week
.

You will also create promotional graphics and update our website, but appointment setting is the
top priority
.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Research, Appointment Setting & Coordination (Primary – 60% of time)

  • Identify high-quality guests
    who meet criteria such as:
  • Regularly appear on other podcasts or industry panels.
  • Are executives, founders, or recognized thought leaders in their field.
  • Maintain a significant social media presence with engaged followers.
  • Write and send outreach emails/LinkedIn messages.
  • Follow up, negotiate times, and manage calendar invites.
  • Maintain an organized guest pipeline spreadsheet.

Graphic Design (20% of time)

  • Create episode cover art and social media graphics.
  • Maintain a consistent, modern brand look using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Website Maintenance (20% of time)

  • Update and manage our website weekly with new episodes, guest bios, and links.
  • Apply light custom CSS/HTML tweaks for layout or style changes.

Sample Weekly Workflow

  1. Research (Monday):
    Compile a list of at least 10 qualified prospects who meet the above guest criteria.
  2. Outreach (Tuesday–Wednesday):
    Send personalized invitations to each prospect.
  3. Follow-Up (Thursday):
    Respond to inquiries, confirm details, and secure a recording slot.
  4. Calendar & Prep (Friday):
    Send final confirmation and share briefing notes with the host.

Minimum Performance Goal:

  • At least 1 confirmed guest booking per week
    that
    you
    sourced and scheduled.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years
    of experience in marketing, appointment setting, lead generation, or customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to
    independently book meetings or secure high-profile guests
    .
  • Excellent written and spoken
    English
    communication skills.
  • Graphic design skills (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Familiarity with or similar platforms; able to edit basic CSS/HTML.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work remotely without supervision.
  • Podcast or media industry experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.

Compensation & Hours

  • Fixed rate: USD 150 per month
    (approx. 40 hours total).
  • Flexible schedule; occasional virtual check-ins required.
