ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Automates deployment processes of software applications an infrastructure to ensure faster, consistent and error-free releases.
  • Monitors system performance of servers, applications and services to improve system reliability and identifies potential issues proactively.
  • Configures CI/CD pipelines of code repositories and deployment workflows to streamlines integration and delivery, reducing time to market.
  • Manages infrastructure as code of Cloud or on-premises infrastructure to enable scalable, repeatable and auditable infrastructure deployments.
  • Implements security practices on code, infrastructure and pipelines to ensure secure and compliant systems, mitigating risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborates with other teams such as Development, Operations and QA Teams to have an enhanced communication and alignment, reducing silos and improving efficiency.
  • Troubleshoots issues on applications and infrastructures to ensure quick resolution of incidents, minimizing downtime and business impact.
  • Conducts system backups of databases and application data to protect against data loss and ensures recoverability in case of failures.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

·       Graduate of any 4-year college degree or equivalent college education preferably related to IT.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in software development.  Odoo development is a plus.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

·       Basic understanding of IT systems, enterprise software, and technology trends.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

·       Proficiency in understanding business requirements.

·       Proficiency in application development using modern programming languages.

·       Proficiency in operating systems and networking concepts.

·       Proficiency in IT infrastructure and hardware.

·       Practical knowledge in (Odoo) ERP and popular business solutions.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient IT administration.

·       Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in the DevOps role.

·       Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
