Job Title: Remote AI Video Creator & Editor Location: Remote (US-based preferred) Type: Contract / Part-Time About the Role

We're launching a fast-paced content brand and looking for a Remote AI Video Creator & Editor to help us produce a high volume of short-form, engaging videos. You'll work with both AI tools (to generate cinematic clips, animations, or persona-driven visuals) and filmed footage (content we capture or that others submit).

This role requires someone who understands how to scale content production with AI, while also having strong editing skills to combine raw video, reactions, and AI-generated assets into viral-ready clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Responsibilities

  • Generate AI-based video assets using tools like Runway, Pika Labs, Sora, Firefly, OpusClip, Descript, etc.

  • Edit and optimize short-form videos by mixing AI, filmed content, captions, and trending effects.

  • Brainstorm creative video concepts (puzzles, challenges, reveals, teasers).

  • Repurpose raw footage into multiple variations for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

  • Add captions, hooks, transitions, and platform-specific polish for virality.

  • Collaborate remotely with the founding team on creative direction and schedule.

  • Stay current on AI video tools and new social content trends.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar).

  • Hands-on experience with AI video generation/editing tools.

  • Ability to integrate raw footage with AI assets into a cohesive story.

  • Understanding of short-form content trends on TikTok, IG, and YouTube.

  • Fast editor with a creative eye and strong attention to detail.

  • Bonus: Background in motion graphics, AI animation, or content strategy.
