- Receives the medication ticket prepared from the charge nurse
- Makes requisition and/or prescription of medicines
- Administer medications
- Plot the time the medication are given into the therapeutic sheet
- Follow-up IV's and document them in the parenteral sheet
- Bedside care
- Receives and makes endorsement from the outgoing and to the incoming medication nurses (e.g ticket by ticket)
- Performs irrigations, catheterization and gives enemas
- Pours, gives and charts medications and patient's reaction to medication
