Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that products, systems, or services meet defined standards of quality. This position involves designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Validation

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts (manual and automated)
  • Perform functional, regression, system, and user acceptance testing
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Participate in requirement and design review meetings

Quality Metrics & Reporting

  • Monitor and report on defect densities, open defect counts, and test coverage
  • Maintain testing documentation and ensure traceability

Process Improvement

  • Recommend enhancements to testing procedures and QA workflows
  • Contribute to the development of quality standards and best practices

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure products meet regulatory and industry standards
  • Support audits and compliance reviews as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in QA or software testing
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Selenium, TestRail, or similar
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification (preferred)
