The Maintenance Electrician performs complex technical work, on a journeyman level, in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures and related electro-mechanical systems, in accordance with applicable Electrical Industry Codes.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical equipment and systems are safe and functioning properly.

· Maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures

· Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems

· Install and maintain wire and cable, circuit breakers, and fixtures

· Maintain electrical systems

· Use hand and power tools

· Work the switchboard

· Inspect electrical systems and components

Education / Work Experience

· Graduate in High School (Diploma) and Vocational Course with Diploma/Short Course with Certificate

· 2+ years experience in maintenance electrical work
