Job Overview:

The Audit Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing audit teams in the execution of internal audits, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and facilitating audit related training as the subject matter expert. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of internal audit principles and practices, as well as strong leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute internal audits in accordance with the internal audit plan and audit methodology
  • Supervise and manage audit teams, including assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing feedback
  • Lend experience as the subject matter expert in topics related to audit, risk and control and soft skills training
  • Report audit findings and recommendations to the Associate Audit Manager
  • Staying up to date on emerging trends and developments in internal auditing
  • Assist the Associate Audit Manager in developing and implementing the internal audit strategy and plan
  • Represent the internal audit function to internal and external stakeholders, such as auditees and regulators/auditors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Audit Manager

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the financing industry or similar
  • Strong understanding of internal audit principles and practices
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and application of policies and legal requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • This position requires regular travel
