Responsibilities:

The School Nurse is tasked to take care of and coordinate with the departments concerned about the schedule of annual physical examination of the students, staff and faculty. He/she does documentation on medical cases, issuance of sick slip, medical treatment and coordination with the closest relatives of the patients. He/she helps in the upkeep of the unit's facilities, equipment, medical and office supplies.  He/she also dispenses medicine with the knowledge or approval of the school physician. He/she also coordinates with the department of Education and Department of Health and other sectors of the University.

Qualifications:

  • At least one (1) year experience as a school nurse, preferably
  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Passed the Nursing Board Examination
  • With License
