Job Overview

The Business Analyst Associate plays a key supporting role in ensuring that business needs are accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into effective technology or process solutions. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to support the delivery of projects that drive efficiency, data integrity, and organizational value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project delivery by assisting in requirement gathering, documentation, validation, and testing activities.
  • Participate in identifying, analyzing, and translating business needs into clear technical and functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions aligned with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Contribute to risk, schedule, and quality management by monitoring project activities and progress.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to support process improvement and decision-making.
  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), validation, and ensure that deliverables meet acceptance criteria.
  • Assist in preparing functional specifications, process flows, reports, and user guides for implemented solutions.
  • Maintain organization effectiveness by supporting continuous improvement initiatives and change management efforts.
  • Engage in project communication and coordination with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on timelines, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Conduct basic research and analysis on emerging tools, practices, and technologies relevant to ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities (verbal and written).
  • Good understanding of business processes, systems, and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, documentation tools, and basic data analysis.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to process and solution improvements.

Preferred Skills (an advantage):

  • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or any reporting/visualization tools.
  • Exposure to ERP systems or enterprise applications.
  • Experience in business process documentation and requirements elicitation techniques.
