About the Role:

This 5-week intensive training will provide the essential knowledge and skills to perform basic bookkeeping tasks specifically, to understand, apply, and comply with GST regulations in business' transactions such understanding the treatment of GST in various transaction types. You will be able to calculate and determine the GST liability in different scenarios. Furthermore, trainees will also become acquainted with the various sections and fields of an IAS and BAS form, as well as the reporting requirements for each component such as GST and Pay as you go withholding. Through the use of Xero Accounting software, trainees will be familiar navigating the software interface and utilizing its key features for tasks such as creating and managing invoices, tracking expenses or bills, and fixed asset management and generate financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

About You:

2+ Years of Local Accounting Experience

Skilled in Bookkeeping, Journal Entries, General Ledger, Trial Balance, VAT, and Financial Statement Analysis

Graduate of Accountancy or a related field

Strong command of written and spoken English
