DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deals with quantity, cost estimating and quality.
Work planning and scheduling, work methodology and specifications.
Assist in Maintenance Planning and Forecasting thru Asset Management System
Monitoring and supervision of maintenance works
Inspection of routine and non-routine maintenance related to roadway assets
Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance of project work
Prepares Inspection Reports and monitoring of Annual Routine Maintenance Schedule
Handles and resolves all concerns of private entities, government agencies, and surrounding communities with
regards to the operation and maintenance of assets within the expressways
- Conduct and generate inspection reports for pavement, roadside, drainage, bridge, and traffic devices/roadway
furniture
Monitor implementation of contractor's routine, corrective and preventive maintenance requirements
Conduct asset condition assessment to assist in forecasting and budgeting of future maintenance works
Generates the raw data of pavement, roadside, drainage, bridges, and traffic devices condition, location of defects, photographs
Assist in the formulation and implementation of immediate corrective maintenance for pavement, roadside, bridge, drainage, and traffic devices/roadway furniture defect based on standard treatment and methods
Conduct annual inventory and prepare inventory report
Prepare annual maintenance schedule for roadway assets
Supervise Incident Response activities such but not limited to incident response, lane closures, vehicle recovery, grass fire, flooding, assistance to another section/department, disaster response, and other filler works
Prepare all necessary documentation related to reporting of routine, corrective and preventive maintenance for horizontal assets.
Conduct and attend meetings with the maintenance service provider or contractor
Coordinate with Operations regarding roadway maintenance activities affecting traffic or requiring road closures
Take action on agreed resolutions of internal and external customer complaints related to roadway maintenance
Conduct site investigation to validate customer complaints and submit reports to the immediate superior.
Prepares Annual Maintenance Budget for Roadway Maintenance
Handles End to End implementation of Enhancement/Repair & Maintenance Projects
Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Degree
B. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in roads, drainage, bridges, traffic devices and other engineering structures
C. Licenses (if applicable): Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer and with Professional Drivers License
D. Others: Must be willing to stay beyond working/shift hours until works are duly completed/accomplished. Must be willing to do field work with regular exposure to dirt, noise, heat, sunlight, wind and rain, or any other potential hazardous substances. 24/7 "On-Call" Service particularly during emergency and/or exceptional cases where operations and maintenance of Toll Operations would be affected. Good work ethics, dedicated on the job and a good team player. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with staff at all levels. Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and to meet strict timelines. Required to work on any shift during normal days, holidays, and weekends. Good writing communication skills. Required to maintain a clean, neat and safe environment of the assigned workstation and site works areas at all time. Sufficient knowledge in Civil/Roadway Engineering and/or related works. General knowledge of computerized application systems. Must have a valid driver's license, excellent driving skills and sound/safe driving attitude.
