DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reports to Operation Department Head.
  • Accountable for the timely and proper completion of assigned task and for the preparation and timely submission of project operation documentations.
  • Shall handle the overall land survey, profile elevation bench, delineation and demarcation of his/her assigned project site until its completion.
  • Conduct daily tool box meetings in order to disseminate information, work activities for the day and target completion dates of work phases at site to ensure the timely execution and completion of the project.
  • Ensure that all company rules and regulations, policies and procedures are being observed by the workers.
  • Shall ensure the safety of all workers and the environment throughout the duration of the project.
  • Conduct surveys/stake-out prior to start the project to ensure the quality and quantity of materials needed for the project is correct and as per client's specification.
  • Prepares progress report/status of his/her assigned project for progress billing purposes and the office project status monitoring.
  • Prepares and collects data for variation/change orders.
  • May recommend other procedures and methods which may or could "fast track" the project.
  • Conduct field surveys to measure and map land surfaces, ensuring accuracy and precision in geographical data collection.
  • Use advanced geodetic instruments such as GPS, total stations, and leveling equipment to determine the position of points on the Earth's surface.
  • Analyze geospatial data, perform calculations to determine distances, elevations, and angles, and interpret the results for design and planning.
  • Establish and maintain local and global coordinate systems for mapping purposes.
  • Work alongside civil engineers, architects, and urban planners to provide accurate land surveys for roadways, buildings, and other infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports of surveys findings, highlighting any errors, discrepancies, or recommendations for further study.
  • Utilized advanced software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS) to generate accurate maps, models, and reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Perform fieldwork, which may involve hiking, driving, or operating vehicles to access remote survey sites.
  • Ensure all geodetic activities comply with national and international standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Work with local government bodies, environmental agencies, and construction teams to provide accurate geospatial data for land development projects.

Required Education, Skills, Experience and Other Career Qualification:

  • Graduate of Civil/Architectural/Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering/Geodetic Engineering
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD
  • Ability to work well under pressure as well as keep up with several tasks at the same time
