Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Reports to: Project Manager

Job Summary: A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer in OSP (Outside Plant) Engineering is responsible for ensuring that the design engineering of outside plant facilities meet the required quality standards and specifications. This individual will be responsible for working closely with internal and external resources to review fiber layouts, construction drawings, bill of materials, splicing documentation and other customer specific deliverables. This position requires an individual who is well versed in fiber optic design and has a keen interest in quality assurance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and policies to ensure that all OSP design/permit work is carried out to the required standards.

● Work closely with OSP designers and project managers to ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

● Create and maintain detailed documentation of all quality assurance activities.

● Provide training and guidance to OSP designers on quality standards, processes, and procedures.

● Collaborate with other departments and teams.

● Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in OSP technologies, and incorporate these into the quality assurance program.

● Ensure that all OSP permits meet requirements and expectations, and provide input and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in engineering, telecommunications, or related field.

● 4+ years of experience in OSP design, with a focus on fiber optic and copper networks.

● Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) and FROGs software.

● Proficient in 3GIS, AGOL, or other GIS based software.

● Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to OSP design.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php58, Php78,000.00 per month
