This is a remote position.

Schedule: 
  • Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm EST
  • Includes 30 minutes of an unpaid break and another 30 minutes of a paid break 
  • 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
  • Build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Document data processes and analysis methodologies clearly.
  • Collect and clean data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to meet data needs.
  • Maintain and optimize data pipelines and storage systems.
  • Translate data findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using Microsoft MACROS and VBA, and other tools.
  • Monitor data quality and resolve inconsistencies.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or Business Analytics is preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as Data Analyst or in similar field 
  • Prior experience working in remote or cross-functional team environments is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of data cleaning and preparation techniques, with experience in SQL, Excel, or Python for data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline management and database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, or cloud-based solutions).
  • Experience with automation tools such as Microsoft Excel Macros, VBA, or equivalent scripting methods.
  • Solid understanding of data privacy, compliance, and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, or local equivalents).
  • Ability to document workflows, processes, and methodologies for transparency and reusability.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex data insights into clear business recommendations.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills, especially in a remote or distributed work setup.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive mindset with a drive for process improvement and efficiency.
