Position: AutoCAD Designer

Number of hours: 20 hours/week
Schedule: EST/PST

Tasks required:

Produce high-quality AutoCAD drawings for hotels, restaurants, and other commercial interior layouts.

Interpret sketches, architectural plans, and notes to develop accurate construction documents.

Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients, engineers, and project managers.

Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations in designs.

Maintain consistent drawing standards, layers, and templates across projects.

Collaborate with remote teams and attend virtual meetings during US office hours.

Assist in space planning, furniture layouts, lighting plans, and finish details as needed.

Organize and manage drawing files, version control, and documentation.

Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned

Requirements:

Proven experience in AutoCAD design, particularly in hospitality and restaurant projects.

Experience with additional design software (Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite) is a plus.

Background in architecture, interior design, or a related field.

Familiarity with US building codes and ADA guidelines is a bonus.

Solid understanding of architectural and interior design drafting standards.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.

Excellent portfolio of previous works

Creative talent, imagination, and eye for design

Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially regarding communicating an artistic vision

Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines

Exhibit strong work ethic and initiative

Clear and concise communicator with effective verbal and written communication skills

Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision
