About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Parts Runner to join our team at Master Garage Davao, Cabantian, Davao City. As a Parts Runner, you will be responsible for efficiently obtaining and delivering necessary automotive parts and supplies to support the repair and maintenance operations of our shop. This full-time position is an integral part of ensuring our customers' vehicles are serviced in a timely manner.

What you'll be doing

  • Efficiently pick up and deliver automotive parts, supplies, and occasionally documents to and from various suppliers, shops, or customers as needed.
  • Verify the accuracy of parts received against orders and invoices.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory of commonly used parts in the garage.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians, parts suppliers, and other team members regarding parts availability, delivery status, and discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
  • Ensure the assigned delivery vehicle (motorcycle) is well-maintained and operated safely.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support garage operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: At least a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Residency: Ideally a local resident of Cabantian, or nearby vicinity.
  • Local Knowledge: Must be highly familiar with the roads, routes, and areas around Davao City and its neighboring communities.
  • Driving License: Valid and current professional (preferred) or Non-Pro Driver's License with motorcycle authorisation, with no major traffic violations in the past 2 years.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., messenger, delivery rider, parts runner) is highly preferred and a significant advantage.

  • Familiarity with various car parts, their types, and functions is preferred.

  • Skills & Qualities:

  • Excellent navigational skills and ability to use mapping applications.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate part verification.
  • Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying automotive parts as required.
  • Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Background Requirements: Must pass employment background check and drug screening.
