Position: Bookkeeper
Location: Malolos City, Bulacan
Type: Full-time
Reports To: Finance Manager/CEO
Role Overview
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for TeleCure. Your work will ensure that all transactions, including receipts, disbursements, and journal entries, are properly recorded according to accounting standards and company policies. You will provide crucial support to the Accounting Supervisor and the Finance Department, making sure that financial data is reliable for reporting, compliance, and decision-making.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Recording & Documentation
- Record daily financial transactions, including sales, collections, payments, and expenses.
- Maintain ledgers, journals, and subsidiary records in both manual and electronic formats.
- Ensure all supporting documents (receipts, invoices, vouchers) are properly filed and organized.
Accounts Monitoring
- Track and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Assist in preparing billing statements and monitoring client payments.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables as needed.
Reconciliation & Reporting
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of cash balances.
- Prepare monthly financial summaries for the Accounting Supervisor.
- Identify discrepancies and assist in correcting errors in financial records.
Support in Compliance & Audits
- Ensure financial records comply with BIR and other regulatory requirements.
- Provide necessary documents and schedules for both internal and external audits.
- Assist in preparing tax filings, reports, and compliance documents.
Coordination with Accounting Staff
- Work closely with cashiers, clerks, and supervisors to ensure a smooth flow of financial information.
- Provide support in budget monitoring and petty cash reconciliation.
- Assist in implementing internal financial controls.
Additional Responsibilities
- Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the management.
- May be assigned to different locations or facilities as needed to support patient care and organizational needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy are a must.
Organizational Skills: Good organizational and time management skills.
Confidentiality: The ability to handle sensitive financial information with a high degree of confidentiality.
Work Schedule
Days: Monday to Saturday
Hours: 8 hours per day
