Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software QA Engineer- Automation with at least 2 years' work experience in building and maintaining robust automation frameworks across both API and UI layers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about quality engineering.

You will be a key contributor to the quality strategy by designing scalable test solutions using modern tools like WebDriverIO, Playwright, and JavaScript. Your deep understanding of automation best practices and QA methodologies will enable you to work closely with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers to ensure our software is reliable, efficient, and high-performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable automation frameworks and lead test automation strategy
  • Mentor junior engineers and review test automation code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and automate test cases
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps efforts
  • Experience with BrowserStack, Load Testing, API and UI automation is a must
  • Experience working in Agile teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer or engineering-related field (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, etc.)

  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency in one or more testing areas (Quality, Test Engineering, Test Automation, Performance Testing, Mobile Testing, and Database Testing) or a combination of education and work experience

  • Hands-on expertwith WebdriverIO, Playwright, or Cypress.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with API test automation (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Knowledge of test design techniques and strategies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
  • Exposure to test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Understanding of BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
  • Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
  • Experience with accessibility and visual regression testing.

Desired Capabilities

  • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust).
  • Familiarity with visual regression tools (Percy, Applitools) and accessibility testing.
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading QA teams.

Candidate MUST be amenable to:

  • Work onsite at least once/twice monthly
  • Amenable to work in dayshift work schedules- 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
