Senior Tax Manager

Your role in the Team

This role will report at local level into our senior finance lead. At group level, it will report into our group tax compliance and reporting director and will also have significant interaction with our other group tax directors responsible for indirect tax/duty, transfer pricing, and international planning.

The role will be ideal for candidates who are ambitious, and looking to hone and develop their skills and experience in a fast-paced, large and growing international company

What you will be doing:

• Tax reporting and related responsibilities:
• • Statutory Accounts
• Annual Tax Returns
• Duty Returns
• VAT Returns
• Intercompany Transfer Pricing Support
• Other required Tax Filings (e.g. withholding tax, specific local tax)
• Tax Payments
• Semi-annual and Annual Tax Reporting
• Local Tax Controls
• Staying up to date with changes in accounting and tax regulations
• Leadership and stakeholder management
• • Managing a team of 10 to 12 People
• Managing relationships with advisers and corresponding budgets
• Dealing with the group auditors in relation to relevant tax matters
• Being the key and critical interface with the group tax team in the UK

Who we are looking for:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in taxation, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent Tax professional qualification is required
• Experience within a Shared Services or BPO environment is advantageous
• Have experience of multiple tax jurisdictions – experience of the UK and/or other European jurisdictions would be a plus
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools, ideally Oracle and MS Applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage senior leaders and stakeholders
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities, with the ability to independently manage priorities and deadlines
• Be strongly analytical, with the ability quickly to identify risks and opportunities
