Who we're looking for:

As part of the global support team based in Parañaque, Metro Manila, the Senior Tax Advisor will work closely with the Tax Manager and the Finance Team in the provision of tax services for the business. He/she will also be involved in tax month-end and governance processes.

Using your high level of communication skills, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing GST and FBT returns in all jurisdictions
  • Reviewing updates to tax law and assisting with the preparation of impact statements / advice
  • Providing tax guidance and support to the Finance Team and the wider business
  • Facilitating and providing in-house training
  • Assisting communications with external advisors and regulatory authorities
  • Managing provisioning and clearing journals
  • Reviewing and improving tax processes
  • Assisting with international tax mobility requirements
  • Providing support to HR / Payroll as required
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required.

The successful candidate will lead by example with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business with major in Accounting and/or Tax
  • Previous experience in FBT and GST for Australia, Philippines and UK is preferred
  • At least 7 years Australian tax experience
  • CA/CPA qualification is preferred.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • High work standard and work ethic, and is committed to continuous improvement
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships across different functions in the business
