About This Role:

We're looking for an Ecommerce Manager who can take ownership of the technical and operational engine that powers multiple online storefronts. You'll manage Shopify stores end to end, ensure product and catalog accuracy, troubleshoot daily site issues, support product launches, and maintain smooth integrations with 3PL partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on, fast-moving ecommerce environment and understands the backend mechanics that keep a DTC business operating reliably. Success in this role means maintaining accurate product data, a seamless shopping experience, clean workflows, and dependable order fulfillment across all regions.

Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Store Management

Manage and update multiple Shopify stores, including products, collections, navigation, and on-site visuals

Maintain catalog structure, tags, product bundles, and variants across regions

Oversee product uploads, including images, descriptions, metafields, pricing, and localization

Support product launches and ensure consistency across storefronts

Website Operations

Troubleshoot website and checkout issues such as incorrect charges, broken links, and display errors

Set up and manage promotions, discount codes, and campaign settings

Collaborate with technical teams to resolve shipping logic errors, SKU mismatches, and app or integration bugs

3PL & Fulfillment Coordination

Work closely with third-party logistics partners to ensure smooth order processing and timely fulfillment

Diagnose and fix data flow or integration issues between Shopify, wholesale systems, and third-party marketplaces

Support returns workflows and bundle breakdown setups

Analytics & Optimization

Monitor ecommerce KPIs through Shopify Analytics and third-party tools

Identify UX gaps, performance issues, or opportunities to improve conversion

Recommend and implement data-driven improvements that support growth

Process Improvement & Quality Control

Identify inefficiencies in ecommerce workflows and propose improvements

Enhance catalog organization, website flow, and fulfillment processes

Maintain high accuracy in product data, site behavior, and system workflows

Software/Platforms/Tools:

Shopify

Shopify Apps (bundles, discounting, inventory tools, etc.)

3PL platforms and integrations

Google Analytics / Shopify Analytics

Slack

Google Workspace

Project management tools (Asana, , ClickUp)

Qualifications:

At least 3 to 5 years of freelancing experience

Excellent oral and written English communication skills (C1 or C2 level)

Minimum 5 years of ecommerce operations experience in a high-SKU Shopify environment (500+ SKUs preferred)

Proven experience managing and optimizing Shopify stores

Strong understanding of Shopify backend architecture, catalog management, and order workflows

Experience working with 3PLs and troubleshooting fulfillment or integration issues

Familiarity with ecommerce marketing basics, including apps, promotions, and discount systems

Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive in problem-solving

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced DTC environment

Reliable internet connection and self-driven work ethic

Shift Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM US AEST
