  • Pick-up and delivery: Transporting documents, packages, and other materials between different locations, offices, or departments.

  • Mail handling: Sorting, routing, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Record keeping: Maintaining accurate logs of deliveries and payments received.
  • Errand running: Performing various errands, such as processing permits and licenses.
  • Vehicle maintenance: If using a company vehicle, performing basic maintenance and ensuring it is in good working order.
  • Communication: Communicating professionally with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Required skills and qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and manage time effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items, and stand for extended periods.
  • Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
  • Proficiency with navigation tools like GPS or maps.

Additional duties

  • Performing basic clerical tasks.
  • Assisting with maintaining office cleanliness.
  • Reporting equipment malfunctions or other issues.
  • Following all traffic laws and company policies.
