What you'll be doing

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the building's structure, systems, and equipment
  2. Identify and address any issues or problems that arise, taking prompt action to resolve them
  3. Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance measures to proactively address potential problems
  4. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions
  5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenditures
  6. Ensure the workplace environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times
  7. Assist with the implementation of new projects or initiatives related to building maintenance

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in building maintenance or a similar role, preferably in the trades and services industry
  2. Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
  3. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of maintenance issues
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  5. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of work
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with other team members
  7. Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when necessary
