Construction Manager

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from planning through completion. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities on site.
• Develop project schedules and monitor progress.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Manage labor, equipment, and materials needed for the project.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
• Handle site documentation including daily reports, permits, and inspection records.
• Lead regular site meetings to update stakeholders on project status.
• Resolve issues related to design, materials, and work methods.
• Ensure quality control and enforce safety protocols.
• Monitor project budgets and manage cost control measures.

Job Qualifications (JQ):Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in construction project management or site supervision.
• Proven experience in managing infrastructure, vertical, or industrial construction projects.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and documents.
• Familiar with construction management software and MS Office tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in construction.

License (if applicable):

• Licensed Civil Engineer
