The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supervising accounting staff. This role plays a key part in budgeting, audits, and compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff; conduct performance evaluations and provide training as needed.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Coordinate and manage audits and tax filings with external auditors and agencies.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data; produce financial reports or statements.
  • Maintain internal controls and safeguard the organization's financial assets.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy
  • Over five (5) years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of three (3) years in a managerial accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
