The STP Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the Sewage Treatment Plant to ensure efficient wastewater treatment and compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor STP equipment, pumps, blowers, and treatment processes.
  • Conduct regular inspections, testing, and sampling of wastewater to ensure proper treatment.
  • Record operational data, readings, and treatment performance in logs and reports.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on STP machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Safely handle chemicals and monitor chemical dosing for treatment efficiency.
  • Report malfunctions, abnormalities, or safety hazards to the Supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the STP facility.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or vocational course in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
  • TESDA NC II in Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation or related certification preferred.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as STP Operator in hotels, resorts, or commercial facilities.
  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to operate and maintain STP equipment and tools.
  • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and a team player.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
