We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer with strong hands-on experience across the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, Power Pages, and integrations with external systems. This role requires both technical depth and solution leadership, with the ability to design scalable, high-performing enterprise solutions and guide best practices across teams.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, understands performance optimization, integration patterns, and governance, and can operate as a technical lead in complex engagements.

Key ResponsibilitiesPower Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)

  • Design, build, and maintain Canvas Apps using out-of-the-box components such as galleries, collections, reusable components, and custom properties.
  • Implement deep linking to enable navigation to specific screens and records within Canvas Apps.
  • Develop Model-Driven Apps with a data-first approach using Dataverse.
  • Customize Model-Driven App navigation using Sitemaps.
  • Apply UI/UX best practices while balancing performance and maintainability.
  • Reuse UI components across screens to minimize implementation effort and improve consistency.

Performance Optimization

  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues related to app load time and formula execution.
  • Apply delegation strategies, efficient filtering, and optimized data queries.
  • Use variables, collections, and filters effectively to control data behavior.
  • Implement concurrency patterns in Power Automate to load and process data in parallel.

Power Automate

  • Design and implement automated flows using appropriate triggers (e.g., Outlook email triggers, Dataverse triggers).
  • Build approval workflows using Power Automate Approvals, conditions, and switch controls.
  • Use expressions and dynamic content to reference outputs from previous actions (e.g., @outputs('ActionName')?...).
  • Integrate flows with external systems using standard and custom connectors.
  • Apply error handling, logging, and optimization best practices.

Dataverse & Data Modeling

  • Design and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, and security.
  • Configure one-to-many relationships (e.g., Customers to Orders).
  • Implement calculated columns and business rules to automatically derive field values.
  • Ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.

Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents)

  • Build and deploy chatbots for conversational experiences using Copilot Studio.
  • Design conversation flows using topics and conditional branching.
  • Integrate bots with external data sources using API connections / REST APIs.
  • Publish and integrate chatbots with Microsoft Teams and Power Platform applications.

Power Pages

  • Develop and customize Power Pages for internal and external users.
  • Configure anonymous/public access for public-facing websites.
  • Display Dataverse data using tables and lists.
  • Customize beyond default capabilities using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Apply authentication, authorization, and validation best practices.

Integrations & ALM

  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Azure services, external APIs, and enterprise systems.
  • Manage solution lifecycle using managed and unmanaged solutions.
  • Support deployments across environments (Dev, Test, Prod).
  • Familiarity with Power Platform Pipelines, Azure DevOps, and/or GitHub for CI/CD is preferred.

RPA (Preferred / Nice to Have)

  • Exposure to Power Automate Desktop (RPA) concepts.
  • Ability to create POCs to validate automation feasibility.
  • Willingness to upskill rapidly in unattended and attended automation scenarios.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
  • Strong experience with Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, expressions)
  • Solid understanding of Dataverse, data modeling, and relationships
  • Experience with Copilot Studio / Chatbots
  • Experience with Power Pages customization
  • Performance optimization expertise (delegation, concurrency, efficient formulas)
  • Integration experience using APIs and custom connectors
  • Ability to operate as a technical lead or senior contributor

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Power Automate Desktop (RPA)
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Power Platform Pipelines
  • Python experience (e.g., scripting, automation, or AI-related workloads)
  • Experience integrating Power Platform with AEM or similar CMS platforms
