DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General Maintenance: Inspect and maintain the building, grounds, and equipment, and perform routine preventive maintenance.
  • Electrical: Repair or replace faulty wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers; diagnose electrical issues; and install new electrical equipment.
  • Painting: Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and priming; mix and apply paint and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and fixtures; and remove graffiti.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and correct mechanical, electrical, and structural problems like plumbing leaks or broken fixtures.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow safety codes and regulations, and use safety equipment correctly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain logs of maintenance and repairs, and report issues to a manager or client.
  • Material and Tool Management: Order supplies and maintain tools and equipment. Use a variety of hand and power tools as needed.
