EDI Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Analyst to join our team. The EDI Analyst will be responsible for managing the electronic exchange of business documents between our company and our trading partners. This role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining electronic data interchange solutions to ensure seamless communication and data integration.

THIS POSITION IS A NIGHT SHIFT WITH A SCHEDULE OF 9 AM EST - 6 PM EST.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external trading partners to understand EDI requirements and specifications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EDI maps and translations using EDI software and tools.
• Monitor EDI transactions and troubleshoot any issues to ensure timely and accurate data exchange.
• Conduct testing and validation of EDI processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and trading partner requirements.
• Provide support and training to internal teams on EDI processes and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices related to EDI technology.
• Participate in EDI-related projects, including system upgrades and implementations.
• Document EDI configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Experience withTruCommerce preferred.
• Proven experience working with EDI standards and protocols (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.).
• Proficiency in EDI mapping and translation tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and integration with EDI is a plus.
• Certification in EDI or related field is desirable.
