- Transport supplies, equipment, or commodities between business sites, suppliers, or clients while making sure everything is delivered securely.
- To guarantee on-time delivery or arrival, plan and adhere to the safest and most effective routes for every journey.
- Make sure that every journey is finished on schedule, accounting for any delays caused by traffic.
- Assist with loading or unloading supplies, equipment, or items, making sure they are put in the car safely.
- Make sure the car is in good operating order by doing routine checks for any mechanical or safety problems.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times by keeping the car's outside and interior spotless and well-maintained.
- Verify that the car is fueled and prepared for operation, keeping an eye on the fuel level and replenishing as needed.
- Report any technical problems or mishaps affecting the car as soon as possible to the fleet manager or supervisor.
- Regularly check the condition and pressure of your tires and make sure that all of your safety gear, such as a first aid kit and fire extinguisher, is there and operational.
- Maintain accurate records of all trips, including date, time, destinations, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Track and submit fuel, toll, parking, and other relevant expenses according to company policies.
- Keep a log of driving hours and breaks, especially if subject to regulations regarding driving time and rest periods.
- Ensure that all deliveries and pickups are documented, obtaining signatures or other forms of confirmation as required.
- Follow all road traffic laws and safety regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of passengers, goods, and the driver.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to prevent accidents and minimize risk while on the road.
- Perform daily or weekly safety checks on the vehicle, including brakes, lights, mirrors, and fluid levels.
- Abide by all company policies and procedures related to transportation, vehicle use, and safety standards.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients, passengers, and colleagues.
- Offer assistance to clients or passengers, such as helping them enter or exit the vehicle, and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant ride.
- Ensure that client confidentiality and privacy are respected, particularly when transporting sensitive materials or individuals.
- In the event of an accident or breakdown, follow company protocols to report the incident, assist with safety measures, and coordinate with emergency services if necessary.
- Have basic knowledge of first aid and be able to administer basic help in case of an emergency until professional help arrives.
- Keep passengers informed of any delays, traffic issues, or changes to the travel plan.
- In case of vehicle breakdowns, initiate appropriate action such as contacting the fleet manager or arranging for roadside assistance.
- Assist with planning and coordinating travel logistics, including route mapping, hotel accommodations, and scheduling stops.
- Handle specific transportation needs such as VIP service, event transportation, or managing sensitive goods with extra care.
- If involved in corporate events or meetings, ensure the transportation aligns with event schedules and requirements.
