Job Description:

Casa Luisa is seeking a skilled and dedicated Empanada Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, and ensuring the quality of our delicious empanadas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety, and contributing to a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assemble empanadas according to traditional recipes and restaurant standards
• Mix, knead, and roll dough to the correct consistency and thickness
• Fill empanadas with a variety of ingredients, ensuring consistent portioning and quality
• Bake empanadas to perfection, monitoring temperature and baking times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area and equipment
• Follow all health and safety regulations and food safety procedures
• Assist with inventory management and restocking ingredients as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
• Contribute to the creative development of new empanada flavors and varieties

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in baking, preferably with empanadas or similar pastries
• Knowledge of traditional and modern baking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and high standards of quality and presentation
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work during peak hours, weekends, and holidays
