  • Bank Reconciliation - Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliation statements. - Ensure deposits, collections, and withdrawals are properly recorded.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank and book balances.
  • Payables & Disbursements - Process supplier invoices, utilities, rentals, and government dues.
  • Maintain an updated payables schedule and ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile supplier statements of account and handle discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting - Prepare monthly Income Statement (profit & loss) and Balance Sheet. - Monitor and analyze sales, costs, and expenses against budget.
  • Provide financial insights and variance reports to the owner.
  • Assist in forecasting cash flow and expense planning. General Accounting & Compliance
  • Record journal entries for sales, purchases, expenses, and adjustments.
  • Maintain ledgers and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Preparation and filing of BIR reports (VAT, EWT, Income Tax).
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) applicable to sole proprietorships.
  • Other Support - Coordinate with branch staff regarding sales reports and expense submissions. - Assist in audits, inventory checks, and other financial tasks as required. - Recommend improvements to strengthen internal control and efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.

  • At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in food & beverage, retail, or small business setups.

  • Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation (Income Statement & Balance Sheet).
    • Experience in bank reconciliation and payables.

  • Familiarity with Philippine taxation and compliance requirements for sole proprietorships.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of POS/accounting systems is an advantage.

  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently.
