About the role

ARTECH TECHNOLOGY INC' is seeking a talented Python Support Engineer to join our team in Metro Manila. In this contract role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our Python-based applications and systems. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing technology company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Respond to support tickets and resolve technical issues related to our Python-based applications and infrastructure
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of Python-based systems
  4. Provide guidance and training to users on the proper use of our Python-based applications
  5. Continuously monitor and optimise the performance of our Python-based systems
  6. Participate in the development and implementation of new Python-based features and functionalities
  7. Document procedures and create knowledge base articles to enhance our support capabilities

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a Python support or software engineering role
  2. Proficient in Python programming, including experience with popular frameworks and libraries
  3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support users and collaborate with team members
  5. Experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on providing high-quality technical support
  6. Good understanding of software development life cycle and best practices
  7. Familiarity with IT infrastructure, network, and system administration concepts
