Key Responsibilities
A. Employee Health & Medical Services
- Provide first aid treatment and basic medical assistance to employees.
- Evaluate workplace injuries or illnesses and coordinate referrals to medical facilities when necessary.
- Conduct health assessments and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Maintain an updated inventory of medicines, medical supplies, and first-aid kits.
B. Health Monitoring & Records
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee medical records.
- Monitor employees' health conditions and ensure compliance with annual physical exams and pre-employment medical requirements.
- Coordinate with accredited clinics and hospitals for pre-employment, annual, and return-to-work medical exams.
C. Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Administration
- Process employee HMO enrollment and deletion in coordination with HR and HMO providers.
- Assist employees with HMO-related inquiries, claims, and coverage concerns.
- Maintain an updated record of employees' HMO status and utilization reports.
D. Compliance & Occupational Safety
- Ensure compliance with DOLE and OSH standards.
- Assist the Safety Officer in implementing workplace health and safety programs.
- Participate in workplace inspections to identify and address potential health risks.
E. Health Education & Wellness Programs
- Organize health awareness activities, vaccination programs, and wellness campaigns.
- Conduct health talks and information drives for employees.
F. Administrative Support
- Prepare monthly reports on clinic activities, HMO updates, and employee health statistics.
- Assist HR in return-to-work evaluations and SSS/PhilHealth claims related to medical cases.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) – Must possess a valid PRC license
Experience:
- For Rank & File Level: Fresh graduates or those with 0–1 year of nursing experience
- For Specialist Level: At least 2–3 years experience in occupational health, corporate clinics, or hospital settings
Knowledge & Skills:
- Proficient in first aid, emergency care, and health assessment
- Knowledge of DOLE-OSH standards and HMO processes
- Familiarity with medical documentation and benefit administration
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and HMO processing
Preferred Certifications:
- BOSH for Nurses (DOLE-accredited)
- First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Occupational Health Nursing Training
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
