Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and the ability to perform inspections using various precision measuring instruments. The Quality Control Inspector will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and CGMP standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to assess product specifications.
- Perform quality audits and maintain documentation related to quality control processes.
- Analyze data collected from inspections and tests to identify trends or issues that may affect product quality.
- Implement HACCP principles to ensure food safety standards are met in applicable manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain knowledge of FDA regulations and ensure all products meet these requirements.
- Utilize vision inspection systems for automated quality checks when necessary.
Skills
- Proficiency in Calypso software for measurement analysis is preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices, including QA/QC methodologies.
- Familiarity with quality systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP, and CGMP regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Experience in conducting quality inspections within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and utilize various inspection techniques effectively.
