Role description:

Role accountabilities:

• Lead or supervise planning activities on single or multiple projects/programmes, potentially managing a small team on behalf of the Team Leader.
• Oversee schedule management for complex projects or portfolios, ensuring delivery aligns with budget, compliance, regulatory, and planning controls.
• Work within established SOPs and systems to produce schedules, track budgets, and highlight variances to control project delivery targets.
• Manage or assist in managing small to medium-scale projects or programmes, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely delivery.
• Interpret project data and provide recommendations to support senior decision-making, clearly communicating planning and schedule information.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party contractors to align expectations, share progress, and coordinate supply chain planning requirements.
• Conduct delay analysis and Extension of Time (EOT) assessments, identifying project constraints and developing mitigation strategies.
• Provide risk management and project support, conducting feasibility studies and presenting risks/issues to senior managers for compliance and mitigation.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, advising colleagues, mentoring junior planners, and being consulted internally and externally on planning/scheduling matters.
• Accountable for project delivery to agreed metrics, responsible for monitoring KPIs, ensuring process compliance, and managing team performance, while continuously supporting and advising stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate of BS Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience as Planner with a professional experience in consultancy and contracting
• Advance proficiency in scheduling tools (MS Project and Primavera P6) and preferably with knowledge in  data visualization tools (PowerBI)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to foresee potential project risk
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project managers and cross functional teams
• Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to drive positive change and challenge status quo
