Shopify Developer (Remote – Philippines)

We're a growing Web & Automation Agency looking for a talented Shopify Developer to join our team. You'll be working on exciting e-commerce projects, helping brands launch, optimise, and scale their online stores.

Payments are made weekly via Wise.

Key Skills & Tools

  • Shopify Development
  • Custom theme development & modifications (Liquid, JSON templates, Sections)
  • Shopify apps integration (third-party + custom apps)
  • Checkout and cart customisation
  • Figma
  • Ability to translate designs into responsive, pixel-perfect Shopify pages
  • Collaboration with designers to bring mockups to life
  • GSAP (GreenSock)
  • Implementing smooth animations and interactions for high-conversion, modern storefronts
  • Notion (for Admin)
  • Task tracking, project updates, and team communication
  • Additional Relevant Skills
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery (for front-end customisations)
  • SEO best practices for Shopify
  • Git/GitHub for version control
  • Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., , Zapier, or n8n) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Webflow or other CMS platforms (bonus)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customise, and maintain Shopify stores
  • Convert Figma designs into responsive Shopify themes
  • Implement smooth animations with GSAP for interactive experiences
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and automation engineers
  • Document tasks and updates in Notion
  • Ensure best practices for speed, accessibility, and SEO

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (portfolio or live store links required)
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid and front-end development
  • Experience with GSAP animations
  • Ability to manage tasks and communicate effectively using Notion
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and reliable
