Technical Writer

JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Writer will be assigned in creating clear, concise, and user-friendly technical writing documentation. This role requires having strong writing skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality documentation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Produce technical documentation, including user guides, manuals, and online help resources.
• Translate complex technical information into clear and understandable content for easier understanding.
• Review and edit documentation for grammar, consistency, and observance of company standards.
• Ensure that documentation complies with company and industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Observe company policies and procedures
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by superior from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Communications, or any related field

Experience: At least two (2) years of relevant work experience

Competencies:

• Proven experience as a technical writer, with a portfolio of previous work
• Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively
• Knowledge of industry-standard documentation practices and guidelines
• Willing to be assigned in Lucena, Quezon
