QUALIFICATIONS

A. Qualifications

  1. Graduate of 4 years management and business-related course

  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills - Knowledge in Mandarin language is a plus

  3. Competent in planning, negotiation and basic finance understanding.

  4. Ability to manage multiple working groups and stakeholders.

A. Job Summary

The Business Development Trainee primary role is to drive demand and build new businesses for the respective business unit portfolio. BD position is created to ensure focus and optimization of its leverage and insights in a specific market profile and field of competition.

The Business Development Trainee is primarily in charge of the strategic direction and growth of the brands and businesses under the portfolio of the business unit. The Business Development Trainee prepares the unit's business plan and leads the execution of the plan through the support of the different SBPs, Shared Services department and third-party service providers.

1. Business Strategy and Direction

● The Business Development Trainee shall prepare the units business plan which includes;

○ a.) financial target

○ b.) key opex and capex budgeting

○ c.) marketing plan

○ d.) expansion and business development plan.

  1. Store Operations

● The Business Development Trainee shall share the accountability of a productive, efficient and compliant area and branch level personnel together with the Operations Team.

  1. Marketing Role

● Develop and evaluate brand strategy and portfolio/ plans

● Must create or update the brand guidebook of the assigned concepts

● Must create promotional strategies

● Conceptualize and spearhead new product launches

● Monitor execution of marketing programs

● Conducting market research

Job Type: Full-time
