Job Title: Mobile (React Native) Developer based in Deloitte Consulting Philippines Delivery Center

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement app features and functionality.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that follows industry best practices and coding standards.
• Implement modern mobile UI/UX designs, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to app performance, bugs, and crashes.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in React Native and mobile development and incorporate them into projects.
• Integrate third-party libraries, APIs, and services to enhance app functionality.
• Work closely with product owners, designers, and backend developers to create robust mobile applications.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in React Native development with hands-on experience in building mobile apps for both iOS and Android.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and React Native.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and application lifecycle.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
• Familiarity with mobile UI frameworks such as Material-UI, React Navigation, and NativeBase.
• Experience with integrating RESTful APIs and handling data in mobile apps.
• Knowledge of Version Control (Git) and experience using GitHub or GitLab.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and mobile build tools (e.g., Fastlane, Xcode, Android Studio).
• Experience in debugging and optimizing mobile apps for performance and memory efficiency.
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following key experience and capabilities:

• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and for backend integration.
• Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing using libraries like Jest and Detox.
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Firebase) and push notifications is an advantage.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Bitrise.
• Strong proficiency in React Native, Typescript and JavaScript.
• Creating UIs using React Native Paper over Material UI and NativeBase,
• Styling using NativeWind
• Knowledge on use of RTK Query or React Query
• Experience with TypeScript and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of Git, Redux, and React Navigation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and mobile build tools.
• Experience in Android and iOS Native Development
