Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Web Developer to join our development team. This is an entry-level role focused on building and maintaining secure, responsive web applications that align with cybersecurity best practices. You will work under the guidance of senior developers and collaborate closely with our security team.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Skills

  • Develop, maintain, test, and debug web applications.
  • Work with databases, with proficiency in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy in web applications and infrastructure.
  • Proficient in Python, JavaScript, Git workflows, and other web development technologies.
  • Knowledge of internet protocols, tools, and full-stack web technologies.

Soft Skills

  • Collaborate with senior developers, , and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Participate in setting web development strategies and policies.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Conduct research into emerging technologies to support innovation.
  • Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and detail oriented.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Function effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative setting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related discipline.
  • Strong interest in software development and a desire to learn.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Fresh Grad is encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work onsite in Cagayan de Oro City and collaborate across different time zones.
